Websites for non-profits and associations

A website that carries your mission

Members, donors, volunteers, funding bodies: each visits your website with a different question. We design non-profit websites that are clear and alive, easy to run for a non-technical team, on a controlled budget. Custom-built, from Brussels.

What your audiences look at

The mission, immediately

Who you help, how, with what impact: a visitor should grasp your reason for being in seconds.

The life of the organisation

Recent news and upcoming events: a dormant website suggests a dormant organisation.

Credibility

Team, members, reports, partners: what a funding body or a future donor checks before committing.

What we build for associations

A custom website, easy to manage and built to grow with your organisation. You edit day-to-day content yourself, on a solid technical base built with Wagtail. The domain name, the content, the data and the code developed for your project belong to you.

  • A readable mission and impact: a homepage that says who you are and why it matters.
  • News and publications: articles, reports, agenda: published in minutes by your team.
  • Members showcased: a directory or network showcase, like the fifty-plus organisations federated by Le Forum.
  • Multilingual when needed: French, Dutch, English, depending on your audiences.
  • Easier donations and memberships: clear calls to action, connected to your existing tools.
  • Visibility: a structure optimised so your topics and publications can be found.
  • Editorial autonomy: designed for rotating teams, staff and volunteers alike.

A non-profit does not communicate like a company. We work with your realities: content approved by the team or the board, subsidised budgets to account for, teams that change, and a duty of transparency towards members and public authorities. The site must stay easy to keep alive, year after year.

They trust us

Le Forum, the Brussels federation against poverty

Website of the non-profit Le Forum

More than fifty federated organisations: an editorial space that is easy to feed (news, publications, quarterly journal), members in the spotlight and a site built as an awareness tool. Read the case study.

A budget designed for associations

We offer non-profits 10% off all our packages. The Start package begins at EUR 5,000 and covers a polished, manageable presence. A 10 to 30% deposit starts the project, the balance follows the milestones, and once the scope is agreed together, the price is fixed. First-year hosting and team training are included.

Small budget? Discover Kern4Good, our solidarity programme. KERN-IT builds websites at cost price, with no margin, for selected Belgian associations in sponsored cohorts. Associations contribute according to their means, with no obligation or minimum. Your organisation can apply at kern4good.be.

Frequently asked questions from associations

From EUR 5,000 for a polished presence, around EUR 12,000 for a custom website that you own. The details are on our packages page, and our article on website prices in Belgium explains what drives the budget. For a personalised estimate, our price calculator answers in two minutes.

Yes, on three levels. First, we offer non-profits 10% off all our packages. Second, our solidarity programme Kern4Good builds websites at cost price for associations selected in sponsored cohorts. Finally, depending on your sector, operating or equipment subsidies can sometimes cover a web project: your funding body remains the best source, and we document the project to support your applications. The Brussels Prime Digitalisation grant, however, targets businesses: most non-profits are not eligible.

Yes, that is the whole point: news, pages, events and members are edited in a few clicks. Hands-on training is included, and the CMS stays simple for teams that change.

We start with an inventory of your existing pages and rankings: useful content is kept or improved, every old URL is redirected and Search Console is transferred, with no downtime. A redesign always involves some variation, but a well-prepared migration limits losses and builds better foundations. The full method is in our article on migrating without losing your rankings.

Allow 2 to 3 weeks for a Start package and about twelve weeks for a custom build, from first call to launch. You approve at each milestone (design, development, launch) and we handle the rest, migration and redirects included.

Let's talk about your organisation

A 15-minute exploratory call, no strings attached. We will have visited your current site before we talk.
