Page template
Definition
A page template (or layout) is the reusable blueprint of one type of page: once the "service page" template is designed, you create as many service pages as you want, yourself. It is the concept that explains the price of a professional website, and it is often misunderstood. What gets designed and developed is not your pages one by one: it is the templates from which your pages are created.
In practice: a "blog article" template publishes an unlimited number of articles; a "service page" template serves all your service pages; a "contact" template carries your form. Each template is custom-designed, developed and tested once, then used without limit.
That is why "how many pages are included?" is a false landmark: on a real CMS, pages are unlimited. The real question is: how many different templates does your site need? A classic showcase site takes 6 to 8; a rich editorial site, 10 to 12.
Our packages are structured on exactly that: 8 custom templates in Business, 10 to 12 in Premium. Details on the offers page, and on what it changes to the budget in our article on website prices.
When comparing quotes, count the custom-designed templates, not the promised pages. It is the only number comparable from one offer to the next.
